Mearns Writers is a dynamic group of story writers, poets, and novelists predominantly based within The Mearns and its surrounding areas. Welcoming of all skill levels and walks of life, Mearns Writers meet virtually once a week to discuss and share their work.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances of 2020, the group holds its weekly meetings every Thursday at 7:00 pm via Zoom meetings. 

Outwith these unprecedented times, Mearns Writers met twice a week at 7:00 pm in alternating locations. Monday meetings were held in Bervie School Common Room, Inverbervie, and Thursday meetings were held in Stonehaven Community Centre Lounge.
